5 stars isn't enough for this amazing, relaxing, soul illuminating experience. An incredible home (it's so much more than a 'house') is filled with every thing you could need and then some!!! The owners have taken such care to ensure our getaway exceeded our expectations again and again and again. It's close enough to town to stock up on essentials and far enough away that nature welcomes you and gives you all the privacy you could want. While the inside of the cottage is top notch (a kitchen dreams are made of) - it's the outside that made us fall in love. Breathtaking views, wildlife of all kinds, a space to lounge, to eat, to soak up the sun, to swim, to roast marshmallows and truly reconnect. There is no detail overlooked. The only negative thing I can say about our stay at The Wood House is having to leave.

Our family had our first together at the cottage (2.5 and 10 months) and we couldn't have asked for more. A winter wonderland. Words cannot describe how beautiful the cottage is. The wood beams, the little attic/loft that my son just loved, hot chocolate by the fire, roasting marshmallows outside, sleigh rides in the forest, the big selection of games, the perfect family getaway. It was clean and even child proof for our kids. We would recommend to our family and friends, we will be back. If winter delivered so much, summer won't disappoint!

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at The Wood House! The house was beautiful and clean, and the couch and mattresses were super comfortable. Radiant flooring made things feel so luxurious! Loved that this place is dog friendly - our pups had a lovely time. Jill and Stephen are incredible hosts who are attentive to detail, and are quick with responses if you needed something. They really thought of everything to make our stay comfortable, cozy, and caffeinated :) Thanks for your generosity and kindness!
